Whitebeard’s Pre Shave Oil is a natural blend of quality oils and essential oils to provide a clean close shave and conditioning. The oil is applied to the skin sparingly and worked into the shave area for about 30 seconds to condition the hairs for the application of a wet shave soap, cream on top of the oiled skin.

The reason I’ve added two days is I wanted to fully review the new Whitebeards “Deep South” preshave, matched with the already reviewed shaving soap.
To be honest my preference preshave is a balm, however I couldn’t resist a match to the terrific soap fragrance and I wasn’t disappointed. The oil has a pleasant viscosity but what appeal’s to me is the extremely manly aroma full of tabacco, floral background notes and that pecan/walnut hint which actually lasts. For example previously using the Boti synthetic brush with the Deep South soap it still had the fragrant smell, even though thoroughly cleaned afterwards.
I’ll finally add that I had two smooth and effortless shaves and I’d certainly recommend for the fragrance alone.
