The reason I’ve added two days is I wanted to fully review the new Whitebeards “Deep South” preshave, matched with the already reviewed shaving soap.
To be honest my preference preshave is a balm, however I couldn’t resist a match to the terrific soap fragrance and I wasn’t disappointed. The oil has a pleasant viscosity but what appeal’s to me is the extremely manly aroma full of tabacco, floral background notes and that pecan/walnut hint which actually lasts. For example previously using the Boti synthetic brush with the Deep South soap it still had the fragrant smell, even though thoroughly cleaned afterwards.
I’ll finally add that I had two smooth and effortless shaves and I’d certainly recommend for the fragrance alone.

Sorry for the delay. Thank You very much for your feedback. This scent was created as a reminder of my time spent stationed in Charleston South Carolina. the Soap is our standard glycerin base made with Kaolin Clay, and Aloe Vera Extract through our hot process. We add the essential oil scents and the Pecan Oil in the final molding stage. The floral scent is Magnolia and fruit is Peach. The Tobacco Essential Oil is from South Carolina. Thank You for noticing the difference. Try the Deep South shower soap as well. We are working on a new 100 gram travel twist up product which will come out soon.
