Whitebeard’s tattoo products are designed for healthy tattoo & skin aftercare and not intended to be used before or during tattoo making.

The different products promote fast healing of new tattoos and good skin care in order to keep the skin art looking as fresh and colorful as possible.

Tattoo Aftercare After the first month, the tattoo will look vibrant and fully healed. It’s easy to remember aftercare in the first few weeks, but it’s essential to keep it up for several months and beyond. Doing so will help the tattoo stay clean and look its best.  Whitebeard’s Balm and Tattoo Oil have additional natural ingredients to continue hydrating the skin, prevent wrinkles and reduce fading with a sunscreen of about SPF 15 due to the specific oils used. The added vitamin E keeps the skin healthy to fight off sunburn and other unwanted skin conditions. Whitebeard’s Tattoo Balm Plus has NonNano Zinc Oxide added to our balm to provide a sunscreen of about 50 SPF.

Some Notes on Washing New Tattoos.   It’s very important after the bandage is removed to keep the new tattoo area clean to prevent infection.  We recommend that you use a mild soap with some anti-bacterial properties and without perfumes.  The Whitebeard’s Tattoo Soap uses a mild soap and 3 essential oils that help protect the new inked tattoo from bacterial infection. Lightly rinse the area.  Lather up the Tattoo soap and gently apply the soap lather in a light scrubbing motion.  Immediately rinse and dab with a soft towel or paper towel before applying Whitebeard’s salve, balm or oil.
